Look Out!

Oh, snap!  I can stand up on my own now.  Don't let this video clip fool you; I can actually stand up for several seconds.  In fact, my dad saw me standing for about 30 seconds today.  Now if I can just figure out this walking thing...You should see the look on my mom's face.  I think it's a bizarre mix of fear, pride, and despair.  I wonder how she'll react when she sees me take my first steps.  I won't have to wonder for too long, though.  I'm pretty sure I'll be walking in the next month or so.

Happy, Happy, Haaappppyyyyyy!

I like books.  Next to electrical cords, they are my favorite things to play with.  If I'm not trying to eat them, I like looking at the colorful pictures and hearing my mom and dad read the text out loud to me, especially when they use funny voices.  My parents let me turn the pages when they read to me.  My current favorite book is The Pigeon Has Feelings, Too! by Mo Willems.

How To Keep Daddy Awake 101

Here are a few time-tested (as in 12:00am) ways to keep my dad awake:

the smack,

the eye poke,

and as a last resort, the nipple twist.

Here I am!!

Look, I know it's been a while, but it's my mom's fault.  I suppose I should admit that I might have something to do with my blog hiatus; my mom has been very busy lately...chasing after me.  I've gotten pretty good at this crawling thing, so she has to keep close watch over my every move.  But here I am, back in action!  Hello!
